Keen Students School is actively seeking volunteers who will be trained in the following areas:
R Workings of a voluntary organisation.
R Office administrative duties.
R Introduction to use of IT in an office environment.
R Working effectively as part of a team.
R Liaising with students and help air the Students’ Voice.
At the end of the placement volunteers will receive:
R Certificate of Achievement.
R Written reference.
R Information on and links to opportunities in other voluntary organisations and Private companies in the city.
After completion of their placement, many KSS volunteers have obtained further placements and paid employment offers as a result of the experience gained. Furthermore, volunteers are expected to work with students, develop projects and get involved in fund-raising.
